In historic buildings, finding a collision-free route from the new bathroom in the attic down to the basement can be quite challenging. Sometimes it takes several offsets to avoid ending up in the middle of a living room two floors below. We determine the route through the timbers in 3D using the point cloud of the digital twin. We still stand proudly with this technology today.
